Position: Assistant Accountant

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

• Engaging in Collections & Receipting of debt
• Continuous client engagement to ensure speedy debt recovery
• Ensure customers always maintain an excellent credit rating.
• Ensuring Creditors are been paid on time before month end.
• Ensuring prepayments are made on time to avoid delays for other departments.
• Ensuring Payroll is done and paid on time.
• Working on Cashflows – Update and Forecast.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Managing of Separate Bank Accounts in Corporate Online.
• Preparing and submitting finance board report before due deadline.
• Full responsibility of day-to-day operations of Finance Division.
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
  
• QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERINCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferable and applicants working towards CPA or CA will have added advantage
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience, reporting or similar fields.
• MS suite of products (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Previous experience with any ERP system is desirable however not required as on job training will be provided.
• Proven experience in elementary accounting is desirable
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
