In order to continue our growth and drive for excellence we are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager. Your role will be to generate a business-wide mindset that promoted Environment, Health & Safety as a principle value. You will provide outstanding, non-compromising leadership in respect to safety practices and commitment and will drive the provision and application of a comprehensive Group Safety Management System.You will provide two-way information flow for the purposes of meeting Aquaheat South Pacific reporting requirements, supporting
our overall group strategy and engaging with EHS peers to enable innovation, learning and improvement opportunities across the group.
Formal H&S qualifications
- Extensive Health and safety experience is essential (within construction, service and retail industry is preferred)
- Experience developing a H&S strategy
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Experience in training/coaching and leading others
- Strong with document writing, compliance and audit
- Ability to drive through change, including culture change
- Ensure business is conducted to a high ethical standard.
- Visible Leadership – plan to fully integrate and oversee the full HS
- Risk/Compliance – develop/review procedures and standards to ensure compli ance from a risk perspective
- Engage and influence key stakeholders, providing advice and delivering regional initiatives
- Full reporting function through to Board level in a concise, coherent and accurate manner
- Manage a highly effective team and coach for success
- Provide the resources to ensure a solid understanding of health and safety and encourage accountability and responsibility throughout
