Position: Service Manager – Western (Nadi Based)

Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide effective and motivated leadership for the Western Region Service business unit. A key focus will be the development of business opportunities throughout the Western Region, especially in the Nadi marketplace to ensure we have sufficient workload to meet current and future budget expectations.
Your responsibilities include the effective team management/ supervision, leadership, mentoring and performance of the HVAC/mechanical service business unit to ensure agreed profitability, revenue and business growth levels are achieved.
You will provide focus and support to ensure the team provide a consistent, high quality, professional and efficient service to all our external and internal clients, ensuring highest levels of work and service quality, legislative compliance, and adherence to company and client OH&S needs.
As a senior member of the ASPL management team you will work with the Regional Manager and other key Managers to deliver sustained business growth and shareholder value.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Direct and lead HVAC/Mechanical Service Technicians and specialist subcontractors in line with stated goals as directed by the Regional Manager.
- Manage all operational matters for HVAC/Mechanical service operation to ensure a high-quality service is provided to our clients in line with our contractual obligations
- Regularly review the activities of your direct reports. At least weekly meetings with the Service Technicians and Service Administrator that are supporting you in directing your technicians.
- Monitor and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the HVAC/Mechanical service delivery team, in order that opportunities for enhanced performance across strategies, processes and activities are identified
- Understand our client’s requirements and the scope of their current contracts as it relates to your area of responsibility
Qualification:
- Minimum of 5-10 years management experience in a HVAC trade service environment
- Relevant professional or technical tertiary qualifications
- Ability to review (scope and price) HVAC installations
- Current un-restricted Drivers Licence
Experience and Skills:
Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area required:
- Proven experience in managing a trade service and installation team with a passion for delivering high quality customer satisfaction at all times
- People management expertise with the ability to lead, coordinate, motivate and develop employees to create an efficient workforce
- Knowledge of building and service regulations and statutory obligations
- Ability to schedule work, provide technical expertise and support staff where required to resolve issues that arise in a busy service operation
- Experience in client relationship/account management
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with a diverse range of tasks to manage
- A passion for maintaining a safe working environment
- A commitment to provide excellent customer service
- Proven ability to develop a team and operate in a team environment
